Between March 8 and 11, the Romanian Association for Smart City and Mobility in partnership with Romexpo, The World’s Smart Cities Organization, Bucharest University of Politechnics, Ecological University Bucharest, SNSPA, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania has the pleasure to invite you at the biggest event of Smart City in Romania – the event is dedicated to the sale of products, services and solutions and smart city products.
The event is thought to be a direct sales platform between those who develop and integrate smart city solutions and potential beneficiaries – companies, central and local government.
Unique Event by Organization and Approach, Smart City Urban Projects is the most important event of this year’s Smart City Industry.

The urban population of the world is expected to grow by 60% between 2014 and 2050 when it is estimated that 6.3 billion people will live in urban settlements. New solutions are needed to manage the limited resources that will be affected by this trend as well as to manage new and sustainable urban spaces. New generations of sensors (sensor networks), collected information (Big Data analyzes) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications are implemented in public and private spaces to meet these demands – however, the challenges and needs are immense. Major cities around the world are currently shaping Smart City strategies – it is now time for those who represent smart cities and creative communities in Romania to understand international phenomena and connect to the industry sectors that make up the Smart City concept.
